Our Written Warranty on Every Fiberglass Pool Job

Every resurfacing and repair we perform comes with a written warranty, a document you hold, covering the materials we applied and the workmanship behind them. Before the crew leaves your driveway, it's in your hand.

A warranty is only worth what's written down. That's why every Fiberglass Pool Rx project ends the same way: a walkthrough of the finished pool and a written warranty handed to you before we leave, not a verbal promise, not a line buried in an invoice.

Why we put it in writing

Here's the uncomfortable truth about pool refinishing: the companies that paint pools can't offer a long warranty, because epoxy paint fails in 2-4 years and they know it. Their "guarantee" usually covers workmanship for a season, right up until the chalking starts.

We can put our work in writing because of what we put on your pool. Factory-grade marine gel coat is built for 15-25 years underwater, and our 5-step process, structural repair, mechanical profiling, controlled spray application, is designed so the surface bonds to the shell instead of sitting on it. When you're confident in the cure, the warranty writes itself.

What the warranty covers, in plain language

The exact document you receive depends on the work performed, but the shape is always the same:

  • The finish itself. The gel coat surface we applied, its bond to the shell and its integrity as a finish, for the coverage period stated in your warranty.
  • The workmanship. The repairs we performed, crack laminations, blister rebuilds, structural reinforcement, done to spec and standing the way we left them.
  • A real remedy. If a covered issue appears, we come back and make it right. Same company, same phone number, same crews running the same routes through your state.

What a warranty can't cover

No honest surface warranty covers everything, and we'd rather you know the boundaries up front than discover them later. Typical exclusions involve things outside the finish itself:

  • Damage from severe water chemistry neglect, sustained low pH and high chlorine will attack any surface ever made. (Our water chemistry guide shows you exactly what to keep an eye on.)
  • Structural events unrelated to our work, ground movement, flood, improper draining by others, mechanical damage.
  • Pre-existing conditions we identified but you chose not to repair.

Your written warranty spells out the exact exclusions, read it, keep it, and call us if anything in it is unclear. We'll walk you through it line by line at your final walkthrough.

The Rx Standard

If we wouldn't warranty it, we won't apply it. That's why you'll never see epoxy paint on our trucks, no one can honestly warranty paint underwater for the long haul.

How a warranty claim works

Simple on purpose. Call or text (870) 819-4534 or email hello@fiberglasspoolrx.com with your name, the project address, and photos of what you're seeing. A specialist reviews it, the same photo-based diagnosis we use for every Pool Checkup, and if it's covered, we schedule the fix on the next route through your area. Keep your warranty document with your house papers; it also transfers real value if you ever sell the home.

Protecting your new surface

A restored gel coat surface asks very little: balanced water, routine cleaning, and no harsh abrasives. Do that and the finish should outlast most of the equipment on your pad. Our fiberglass pool maintenance guide covers everything your new surface needs, which is refreshingly close to nothing.

Warranty questions

Is the warranty really in writing on every job?

Yes, every job, no exceptions, no minimum project size. You receive the physical document at your final walkthrough, before the crew leaves. If you've lost yours, call (870) 819-4534 and we'll get you a copy.

Does bad water chemistry void the warranty?

Sustained, severe chemistry neglect can, the same way running an engine without oil voids a car warranty. Normal ownership doesn't. Keep your water reasonably balanced and you're fine; your written warranty defines the specifics, and our water chemistry guide makes staying in range easy.

What if I sell the house?

Your warranty document states whether and how coverage transfers to a new owner. Either way, a documented professional restoration, with daily photos and paperwork, is a genuine selling point when the home inspector reaches the pool.

Ready for your pool's prescription?

Send photos of your pool and a fiberglass specialist, not a salesperson, will call you within one business day with a diagnosis and a real number.
