Floating shells. Never drain a fiberglass pool in Louisiana without hydrostatic management. An empty shell in saturated ground is a boat, and it will try to act like one. Every job we do here starts with groundwater control, dewatering as needed and monitoring through the whole project. It's the single biggest reason DIY draining destroys pools in this state.
